Mentes was approved after completed 30-days test in Germany 2009. The exterior is topmodern and his mechanic when moving is exceptional in all three gaits. Mentes got high, even scores for both gaits as well as jumping.

Mentes´halfbrother, Agastrofos (also approved), sold to the USA as 4-year old, has together with his rider Kevin Kohmann already as 7-years old won Intermediaire I.

There are several well-known Olympic horses in Mentes´pedigree, Briar 899 did three Olympic Games, Gaspari participated in two Olympics and his son Piaff won dubble gold 1972 at the Olympics in München, Germany with his rider Liselott
Schindling-Linsenhoff.

Magini, Steinbeck and Maraton have all competed jumping on S-level. Krocket scored 10-10 at his stallion test and Mentes himself did jump very well when doing his test.
